
Brian Bishop West
Born and raised in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Brian Bishop West is proud to serve the community that has been home to his family for generations. A graduate of The Citadel, Brian earned his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and has committed his career to delivering strong, results-driven legal representation to individuals and families across Berkeley County.
Before joining Bishop Law Firm, Brian established and operated his own successful law practice in Moncks Corner from 2014 – 2024, earning a reputation for thorough preparation, client-centered service, and integrity in every case. Today, as a third-generation attorney continuing the legacy of his family, Brian provides experienced counsel in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, probate, and real estate.
Brian lives in Pinopolis with his wife and their two sons. A devoted husband and father, he is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family at the beach. When not in the office or the courtroom, he’s most often found outside, embracing the Lowcountry lifestyle with those he loves most.
George Benjamin Bishop, III

George “Ben” Bishop, III was born and raised in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, and is proud to continue serving the community his family has called home for generations. A graduate of The Citadel, Ben went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and has built a career defined by practical legal solutions, honest counsel, and a deep respect for the people he represents.
Following his admission to the South Carolina Bar, Ben began his legal career as an associate attorney alongside his father, the late George B. Bishop, Jr., gaining firsthand experience in the courtroom and at the negotiating table. Shortly thereafter, Ben accepted a position with Berkeley County Government, where he currently serves as the county’s right-of-way attorney.
Ben lives in Pinopolis with his wife, their son, and their daughter. A dedicated family man, Ben is most at home outdoors – on a tractor, in the woods, or on the water. He’s an avid hunter, fisherman, and farmer, carrying on the traditions passed down by his father and rooted in the Lowcountry way of life.
In private practice, Ben handles a broad range of legal matters including criminal defense, real estate transactions, personal injury claims, and probate matters. Known for his straightforward, no-nonsense approach, Ben brings practical judgment, deep local knowledge, and a steady hand to every case. He values hard work, honest communication, and helping people navigate life’s most difficult challenges with confidence.
